Every visitor/user of the Omoderne website has the option to provide Omoderne with personal information. The personal information provided for Omoderne will be used to ship products, receive payments and to better understand users/visitors’ expectations. The personal information will also be used to provide information on Omoderne products or services to visitors/users who have chosen and agreed on receiving said information.

When you are willing to provide information, for instance; to sign up for an online account or fill out a customer information card in the store, to participate in an event, to make a purchase, or ID information necessary when you request a VAT refund or a “click and collect” service in-store.
For instance, credit card/debit card details, bank account numbers, Ideal account details or other payment details which you must provide to receive products or services you have ordered from us.

Comments
The comments received are either via the comments sent through the contact form or review comments left by consumers about our products or services.
The data we collect is shown in the contact form and the review submission form, and the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
Comments the visitor/user of our website left on another website that has been received via a link provided by us may have other privacy policies that are not the same as ours, which should be noted. For example, if you click on an advertisement link on our website, this means it might take you to a completely different site that is not omoderne.com or part of the Omoderne company. These links may include businesses/websites that may use our name and/or logos due to co-brand, partnering or other agreements. It must be noted that sites/businesses may send their own cookies to you and may collect data and make uses of it that we would not and do not have control over these sites/businesses and bear no responsibility or liability.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. After approval of your comment, your profile picture may be visible to the public in the context of your comment.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
This is currently not a concern for omoderne.com users/visitors, as omoderne.com does not provide the option to do so. For the time being, users/visitors have the option to choose an avatar out of pre-selected images by omoderne.
Omoderne currently has 4 different forms.
The first type of (contact) form in the contact form where users/ visitors can send an e-mail to Omoderne. The data collected from this form are shown in the contact form.
The second type of (contact) form found on Omoderne is a form that is needed to be filled when a user of the website chooses to make an account on the website (omoderne.com). The information collected will be the information that is asked from the user creating an account on omoderne.com. This information will be used to make the user experience on the website more personal. This will be done by product recommendations, personal e-mails (if agreed upon by the user), faster transaction process. Other privileges and benefits will also be provided on the website where only the basic information (e-mail, name) name is needed to provide these privileges such as coupons or sales codes.
The third type of (contact) form is when a user/visitor subscribes to either the website’s blog, the website newsletter or a subscribe form on the coming soon and/or under construction page (of omoderne.com) where they must (only) provide their e-mail to be informed when the website is active.
The fourth type of (contact) form would be found in omoderne.com where the user/visitor wants to make a purchase and must fill in his/her transactional data such as purchase/payment information to make a transaction complete.

In every form provided by omoderne.com is spam detection in place to collect data of the users’/visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
The information data the user/visitor providesomoderne.com via a contact form will be only used for marketing purposes when the user has agreed to the terms and has read the privacy policy and fully given Omoderne permission to do so.
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Examples of such websites include videos, from youtube.com or affiliate marketing websites or google ads that may be found on our websites. Other examples are all our social media links and content may also be displayed on this website via those social media (omoderne.com).
Analytics
The website omoderne.com makes use of Google Analytics.
Users/visitors of the omoderne.com website can opt-out of analytics tracking by sending a mail using the contact form provided in the contact section of the Omoderne website.
The data we collect, process or store with Google Analytics (”Google Analytics data”) are protected and remain confidential. We also use the data to maintain and secure the Google Analytics service and to perform critical system operations. Our hosting provider web servers automatically log access logs such as visitor IP addresses and error logs. We (Omoderne) have access to these data, which can be removed upon request of Omoderne users/visitors.
Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, both Administrators and Shop Managers can access:
- Order information such as what was purchased, when it was purchased and where it should be sent, and
- Customer information such as your name, email address, and billing and shipping information.
Our team members have access to this information to help fulfil orders, process refunds and support you.
We accept payments through Ideal, credit cards such as Visa, etc. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to Ideal and your credit card provider, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information. Your payment information is always secured on our website with SSL and other security measures. By ordering and making payments on Omoderne we may share store data with a secured external service, before doing so, we always ask for permission and only go through with the payment when permission is granted (for example stripe).
If you leave a review on one of our products, the review and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up review automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot simply change their username or password). A request for a username or password change must be executed by a request form. Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
Data’s that are obtained by cookies, see the cookie policy. Will be retained (stored) for a total of 100 days.
Any other personal information data will be stored/retained until the user/visitor request to remove all and/or a piece of specific information.
Due to accounting and legal reasons, some payment information will be stored (only when a purchase is made)
Payment information may also be stored on the Omoderne website when the user opts to do so. For example when the user saves his/her payment information for faster checkout in his/her future purchases.
Visitors/consumers of ”https://www.omoderne.com”, company (”Omoderne”) have the right to access, modify or delete his/her personal information data that has been collected on the website. In order to have access, modify or delete his/her personal information data; visitors/consumers of ”https://www.omoderne.com”, company (”Omoderne”) can send a mail requesting to do so.
When and if the visitor/consumer of Omoderne notify that he/she wants to receive details of Omoderne products or services, Omoderne has the right to contact the visitor/user by either mail, telephone or post in order to present the visitor/user details of Omoderne products and/or services or any other information that we see fit to be of interest.

What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data
When we receive a mail, with your consent we send an automated mail of conformation or response. User information for faster login and site use.
We collect information about you during the checkout process on our store.
What we collect and store
While you visit our site, we’ll track:
- Products you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed
- Location, IP address, and browser type: we’ll use this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping
- Shipping address: we’ll ask you to enter this, so we can, for instance, estimate shipping before you place an order, and send you the order!
We’ll also use cookies to keep track of cart contents while you’re browsing our site.
We collect and send the following information (made available from the visitor’s browser) to our Demand Partners: IP address, geographical data (derived from the IP address), user agent, operating system, device type, unique user ID (randomly generated identifier), current URL, and IAB (Interactive Advertising Bureau) interest category.
Data Retention: Log data (IP address, geographical data, user agent, operating system, device type) is stored for 30 days. The unique user ID is stored in cookies and is retained for 1 year.
We track ad impressions, video-related events (i.e. pause, mute, 100% plays, etc.) or errors, and ad click events.
Various cookies are used for the following purposes: delivering targeted advertisements to specific visitors, storing user identifiers, and collecting anonymous ad platform stats.
Collecting information for purchasing and delivering services
